DESIGN FILES :: A CONTEMPORARY PENTHOUSE 2

By now you would have toured the entire Pent House project we completed back in December - except the Family Room.

Here again, the brief was to stick to a relaxed colour palette of beiges with minimal introduction of colour. The idea was to give it that cosy relaxed luxe feeling and to keep the wow views of Downtown Dubai as the main focus since the space is surrounded by glass all over allowing for the unobstructed views of the Burj Khalifa too.

With this in mind, we opted for a textured overall look using various finishes, from smooth painted finishes to the shiny glass, brass and everything in between. The taupes and beiges played nicely accented with the contrast of the wood grain across too. Then for that minimal colour, we used the same shades of aqua's in some of the cushion and the artwork.

We also designed the bespoke television unit so it's functional and displays the rustic accessories beautifully while adding interest to the space.

The furniture selected was perfect for the lounge with plenty of seating and we even managed to fit a desk in the space too!
