THE ART OF DISPLAYING ART

If you are like me and enjoy acquiring art during your travel you will relate to this post. It got me thinking... How easy/hard it would be displaying various art pieces in one space without them clashing while adding visual interest in a room. I then remembered stumbling across an article on an antique dealer Alfonso Icaza’s house in Madrid years ago.

It’s a great example of how Neoclassical pieces can coexsit with modern art and furniture. The key is to keep in mind proportion, color and definitely how the art piece will be approached.

I also added a few other examples for my web research where Art is incorporated into the interiors in a way that that it becomes the highlight of the room.

Happy Styling!
