DESIGN FILES :: NOT YOUR USUAL RENTAL

One desires to feel at home when traveling abroad, and what better way to do so than to rent a whole apartment in the centre of the city where everything is accessible from shopping centers to cafe's, restaurants and whole lot of services.

It is even better when the apartment is bright, spacious and designed! I present to you our City Walk Apartment project which was an empty shell and got fully furnished in six weeks.

The brief was simple, to furnish this city apartment in understated modern luxury yet on a budget! Hence shopping from a variety of outlets without skimping on the element of style or comfort.

We decided to go with a neutral grey palette injected with color across the house which makes it easy to update when needed especially that it is a rental.

For the open living space we opted for the Turin grey sofas from Indigo Living which are super comfy and completed them with IKEA's KOARP arm chairs and added glass coffee tables and side table from Objects of Design.

For accessories we kept it all in metals, glass and greenery and for the carpets we used non other than Carpet Centre to complete the space and add extra elegance to it.

In the dining room area we furnished it with a beautiful wooden table, sideboard and modern comfy dining chairs. The last touch was simple sheer drapes to keep the light flooding into the space. We completed the space with the sputnik lights and artwork from The One.

The outdoor balcony was also furnished with a modern settee to make the stay extra enjoyable.
